So the invincible men's Dream Team lost to Lithuania. Heh. The novelty has worn off gentlemen, next time make sure you have a few guys on your team that can actually shoot the damn three pointers, then maybe you can win that moniker back. God forbid the world sees how really overpaid and overrated y'all are.

Here's a Dream Team... if you live in Atlantis... it's like Team Namor or something. And here's Superman. I have to say, I'd probably rather see him in the blue tights than Tom Welling.

Can anyone give me a reason to keep watching the Olympics now that swimming is over? Anyone? [/crickets]

Seriously, where did all these "sports" come from anyway?

LOL! Word. Badminton? Olympic ping pong? Seriously. They need to draw the line somewhere. At least the summer olympics doesn't have curling. I mean...all those times I slid my baby bro along my mom's freshly waxed kitchen floor when I was a kid... I could have been a champion "curler" in the making and never realized it! Thus my olympic dreams are dashed. *snorts*

If I have to see one more beach volleyball match, I will jump out the window.

Like ping pong, I'd rather play it then watch it.

Bring back swimming damn it. Hot wet bodies in tight outfits. What more do you need?

Well, I did like it better in the old days when they had the barely-there speedos on. I used to hold my breath hoping one of them would lose a suit on a dive. Never happened. I'm still dubious about these newfangled ultra sleek suits. Not that they don't look good mind you, but...I'm guess I'm old school when it comes to swimming.

Oh joy, more Beach Volleyball today. *sigh*

And I admit, while growing up near the border with Canada, I used to watch curling via canadian TV. *blush* But I made up for it by also watching Aussie Rules Football on ESPN, so it all balances out in the end...doesn't it?

I presume they do work considering how widespread they're used now. Although it almost seems part function and fashion. I guess there aren't any lone guns out there who want to be the lone skimpy bikini speedo wearer when everyone else is wearing the fastsuits and jammers. Although it does seem Phelpsie does all in his power to laugh in the face of gravity... I just wonder when gravity will have the last laugh.

The suits offer other giggliness considering they're rather difficult to put on and take off alone. You can sometimes see teammates / fellow swimmers helping each other unzip. Fairly innocent, but also a nice touch of orgyrific. ;)
