So the invincible men's Dream Team lost to Lithuania. Heh. The novelty has worn off gentlemen, next time make sure you have a few guys on your team that can actually shoot the damn three pointers, then maybe you can win that moniker back. God forbid the world sees how really overpaid and overrated y'all are.

Here's a Dream Team... if you live in Atlantis... it's like Team Namor or something. And here's Superman. I have to say, I'd probably rather see him in the blue tights than Tom Welling.

Can anyone give me a reason to keep watching the Olympics now that swimming is over? Anyone? [/crickets]

Tar-Thorpe looks like it mocks Halle Berry as Catwoman, which was so many fandoms mocked in one that I had to snortle.

Oh yes. It mocks her thoroughly. He's there. Totally stationary... yet giving off more the primal sex vibes than Halle could muster licking Ben Bratt's face or whatever the hell else supposedly "cat"-like she was doing in that farce. The whole "Catwoman" thing makes me a little sad too. Will there *ever* be any good superheroine movies? Ever? I'm not even a CW fan really, but it's amazing how Hollywood can totally screw the pooch on something. Maybe it's best they don't attempt anymore superheroine movies. ::remains very cautiously optimistic for the Aeon Flux movie - the makings of totally cool or Halle's CW revisited::
