New interview with Sera Gamble with spoilers we've mostly already heard, but a few new tidbits.

On February 4, you’re doing a “Back to the Future” episode when Sam and Dean time travel to 1978. What are they attempting to do?

Sam and Dean go back to try to save their mom and dad—from a threat that also travels back in time from 2020—Terminator style.

Everyone speccing this is Anna from 2020 and they're probably right, though we've got other spoilers that say Michael's first appearance will happen in this ep.

A nice little mindfrak for Dean (and everyone really) would be 2020!time-traveler is actually 2020!Dean-with-Michael-inside-him who jumps back in time to protect his vessel / send Anna into limbo or whatever else survivable in SPN (Julie McNiven claims she may come back after 5.13). This wouldn't be 2014!Dean from "The End" (yes, he died, but that timeline also no longer exists after Dean started changing things at the end of 5.04), but as a result of our current Dean's future actions based on the new timeline. Unless Dean post-5.13 changes more stuff and thus creates yet another new timeline and future gets unknown again. WEEE!! Wibbly wobbly timey wimey BS!

So yeah, this is all sounding very Terminator 2, but I am hoping it's more like that as opposed to, say, "Heaven & Hell" (also containing Anna, angel shenanigans and written by Sera Gamble). If it is anything like H&H, I'm sending Sera G my bill for the Pepto.

John = Dean (Sam?)
Uncle Bob = Castiel (Michael?)
T1000 = Anna

I still think this is going to happen. The T2 pilfering only makes me think it more. That and how all the ne'er-do-wells get tossed into a Lake of Fire in the end. Anna trying to take out the entire Winchester fam sounds like surefire way to get a trip downstairs in Kripkeland.

I really want NOBODY to get to play Michael except Jensen Ackles, WHATEVER WAY THAT MIGHT MEAN.

All I think when I look at Robert Patrick these days is 'heeeey that's Gillian Anderson's ex-boyfriend'

Srsly! No one else would do him justice! All the archangels have brought the awesome acting and Michael is The Archangel, they have to bring it. Jensen playing him is just more convenient. That would also mean the first time travel ep, Dean was confronted with Samifer, the second one he's confronted with Deanael. And you know I favor the Dean=Michael theories. ;) So Mary gives birth to Dean who is actually Michael (but also possibly Jesus).

I've seen T2 so many times (it's an illness, really), more times than latter XF eps I've seen. So he'll likely forever been T1000 in my brainmeat.
