retro_eidasNew interview with Sera Gamble with spoilers we've mostly already heard, but a few new tidbits.
Everyone speccing this is Anna from 2020 and they're probably right, though we've got other spoilers that say Michael's first appearance will happen in this ep.
A nice little mindfrak for Dean (and everyone really) would be 2020!time-traveler is actually 2020!Dean-with-Michael-inside-him who jumps back in time to protect his vessel / send Anna into limbo or whatever else survivable in SPN (Julie McNiven claims she may come back after 5.13). This wouldn't be 2014!Dean from "The End" (yes, he died, but that timeline also no longer exists after Dean started changing things at the end of 5.04), but as a result of our current Dean's future actions based on the new timeline. Unless Dean post-5.13 changes more stuff and thus creates yet another new timeline and future gets unknown again. WEEE!! Wibbly wobbly timey wimey BS!
So yeah, this is all sounding very Terminator 2, but I am hoping it's more like that as opposed to, say, "Heaven & Hell" (also containing Anna, angel shenanigans and written by Sera Gamble). If it is anything like H&H, I'm sending Sera G my bill for the Pepto.
Sarah = Mary
John = Dean (Sam?)
Uncle Bob = Castiel (Michael?)
T1000 = Anna
I still think this is going to happen. The T2 pilfering only makes me think it more. That and how all the ne'er-do-wells get tossed into a Lake of Fire in the end. Anna trying to take out the entire Winchester fam sounds like surefire way to get a trip downstairs in Kripkeland.

Date: 2010-01-20 03:18 pm (UTC)What is seen cannot be unseen! I actually don't think Sam's shallow love interests are that bad usually (aside from Ruby, but I actually ignore that IKWYDLS scene. I thought it was gratuitous, but I didn't necessarily think it was embarrassing. Ok, maybe a little lulzy). I'm also pretty much accustomed to Jensen not having much chem with the actresses cast as Dean's love interests, but it's like they took that H&H sex scene to a whole new level of awkward. It couldn't be enough JA had no chem with JM and her character is so painfully milquetoast, they cranked up the Harlequin to 11 in some attempt to make it appealing? The song? The "Titanic" shout-out? I just... don't know what they were thinking. At all. I still don't know if they were somehow trying to make it purposefully bad/a parody of other cheestastic love scenes (the Model-T sexin in "Titanic" to name one), because that's exactly how it came off to me.
Tho I'll give it one thing, after H&H, I don't think I'll ever say anything bad about "Route 666" or "Red Sky at Morning" ever again.

Everyone apart from Cas either seem like assholes and/or untrustworthy, they all need to get fired. Or at least need a long sabbatical with lots of therapy to cure them of massive emo (Raphael. Tho Gabriel has been gone forever and he's still emo about the angel fam).

I'm not a big fan of her writing in general, but she really phoned that episode in (I seem to remember the only thing she said about Anna was that she had nice hair). If I didn't know Anna was a canon character I'd think she was someone's badly written fanfic OC (I tried to like Anna, I really did).

Me too! I'm hoping that is where Mary's 'there are angels watching over us' line came from. I like it when Supernatural ties things together like that.
