second verse same as the first

I'm probably slow on the uptake with this, but I noticed that in both last season's time travel ep and this season's, there was Dean/Cas shoulder touch of bromance near the very end of both eps.



In 4.03 it's Cas touching Dean's shoulder. In 5.04 it's Dean touching Cas.

With all this lovely mirroring, does this mean in 5.22 it will be Dean slamming Cas up against a wall with his hand on (or near) his mouth? ;) YES PLS!!

Also in both eps, Surprise Angel in the co-pilot seat with Dean-not-quite-having-a-heart-attack while driving a borrowed car.

also, i can't get enough of cas' little smile in the second gif.

Look of love, bb. XD I also don't know if it's a Jensen and Misha thing or directorial, but they assess each other's faces a lot when they're in scenes together. Cas/Misha is doing it there. Not so much where it's obvious, but enough to be noticeable.... or that could simply be my Dean/Cas batshit which it probably is. *facepalm*

now i want a scene where cas shows up in the backseat of the impala, and sam nearly shits himself while dean is all, "oh, hi there cas". cause seriously, he should be used to cas' surprise entrances by now. XD

I want them to take that further and I so very much want those specs about Dean possibly sensing Cas before he's able to see him with his eyes to be canon. Then Sam newly integrated into the team giving bemused head tilts at the angelic weirdness of it, but it's the norm between Dean/Cas now.

mm, either way, it makes me happy. i love it when they're all focused on each other's faces. and cas is totally using that to learn things... like how and when to smile, clearly. :p

Of course, by that assessment, future!Cas must have learned that 1000 watt smile (though totally fake as it was) from Dean too. Or not. Although I'd prefer the notion future!Dean was capable of really smiling at some point while future!Cas knew him.

Dean seemed to be able to do it by the Halloween ep last season, so anytime now that Cas spidey sense should be returning. XD

Or anyone making fun of Dean and his angel boyfriend at anytime ever. Though obvs Sam doing it would be like a dream, once again having me question whether what I'm watching is real or not.
