Van Helsing: The Video Game
Feb. 3rd, 2004 10:33 pmMy brother sent me this. VH game official site
When is this supposed to take place? That's a machine gun in the first cap. Where's the crossbow?

CGI doesn't look any better in the game.
I wonder as a reward for beating the game you get to watch that shirtless scene over and over? Not that I'm not doing that anyway with the trailer.

Hee! That would be best game ever!
Just like VH is going to be the best movie ever. Right alongside every other American movie Hugh has done (He's shirtless in *all* of them. I think it must be in his contract or something).
Although it's sad, despite the Hugh factors, his movies are almost painful to watch. "Swordfish"? Much lovely Hugh flesh.... but my gawd is that a bad movie. Ditto to "Kate & Leopold" and "Someone Like You". I was hoping besides X-Men, he might be in something where he's not only nekkid but actually has some good story... but the VH trailers aren't making me very confident.

Date: 2004-02-04 10:49 pm (UTC)I'm *almost* ashamed to admit that I own all of these movies on DVD. I don't own the Someone Like You Special Edition with all the extras, to my everlasting regret. I've seen a shot of his rear that's supposedly from those extras, and needless to say I would like to see that on my largish screen tv, in all its nekkid glory.
I actually find Swordfish the least painful to watch, probably because I think he looks the best in that one. And he kills me during the scenes with the girl who plays his daughter.
I was holding out hope for VH, before I saw the previews. I've since resigned myself to the eye candy being the only thing to look forward to.

Barring X-Men, I'm thinking his career is turning out to be one eye candy project after another. Which I'm not really complaining about, but it would be nice if he could flex the acting muscles as well as the chesticles, thighs and arms. ::rapidly losing train of thought::
