Damn! That's some exciting tv. IIRC, I wasn't into the first few eps of "Heroes" last season either, but this show looks like it's one that needs to rev up before it gets going.

I've actually been rather bored with both Hiro's and Peter's storylines and it feels like they've been taking up a lot of time these past several eps. Neither of which showed up in this ep, which is probably why I enjoyed it more. Although was that a baby Caitlin was holding in the promo? That Petrelli sperm doesn't waste any time, does it? Although it might have been Matt's ex-wife too (Just what he needs! The wife showing up with a baby - that will probably turn out to actually be his, another MicroHero! YAYZ - on his doorstep, his dad may be some horrible killer and the little girl who can find him is comatose due to his SuprEvolz dad).

Also, Nathan's kids... powers or no powers?

I'm sorry, but Claire's new boyfriend still creeps me out, but I'm thinking that he's supposed to. The extra pushiness for Claire to not break up with him and the date, encouraging Claire to lie to her father? The whole you can trust ME, Claire, and nobody will understand you like I can thing. Just a really bad vibe all around. However, I was calling him a creep since the Peeping Tom business... and Claire is just falling for it. UGH! Either he's secretly working for The Company (spying or trying to turn Claire to their side and/or spying on HRG) or he's involved somehow with Nightmare Man (possibly a minion and also maybe the one who killed Keito Nakamura? It wasn't Matt's father as he was a bit portly. The guy who killed Keito was thin. Granted, that could be anybody, but New Kid who we know nothing about but having a supposed connection to HRG, he has powers, wafts with the untrustworthiness, cozying up to the cheerleader who everyone was after last season and also happens to fit the physical profile as he looks about the right height and weight for it? Dude! He so killed Keito!).

I'm still kind of pissed about DL getting killed (and offscreen to boot!!), but the relatives look very cool. The girl is a mimic, maybe? And it looks like Micah did something to her? "I wanted to fix your dreams"? Whuh?? Micah can fix/mess with people as well as electronics? I'm betting Great-Auntie Uhura probably has powers as well.

Oh! Sylar teaming up with Maya (the one who could "kill the devil", Devil = Sylar or Devil = Nightmare Man?) and Alejandro! Suddenly they just got a helluva lot more interesting. Sylar always goes on the most interesting road trips.

Matt you bad daddy! Although now Molly seems to be trapped in her own mind. Matt's dad have his powers, but x1000? Like the Professor Xavier to Matt's Jean Grey (minus Phoenix)?

Caitlin has blue/green eyes, ys?

I'll take your word for it, as my own eyes have come to glaze over during the Peter and his new Oirish mates scenes.

I don't WANT West to be bad (but really, I SO DO WANT IT!).

Yup. That's it in a nutshell. ;) But yeah, E.v.i.l. = West. Totally.

And re: Sylar? He's totally creepy and I just don't give a shit about him either way, really. :(

I guess I sort of like him as he's got a bit of a "Dexter" thing going on. A serial killer and sweet jesus quite creepy, but one that also has a darkly quirky side to him too which intrigues me. I have a funny feeling there's probably going to be some situation that arises - with all these new uber big bads coming into the plot - that Sylar is going to have to team up with the 'good' guys for awhile to take on the uber evolz. Then after uber big bads are dealt with, go back to being skeevy serial killer guy again.

Death

In the Heroes graphic novel "The Death of Hana Gitelman, Part 2", Niki informs Micah that D. L. is in the hospital. Niki says that D. L. will be fine and that the doctors are taking care of him. However, subsequent "chat logs" at a related web site detail a conversation between Hana Gitelman and Micah, indicating that D. L. has died in the hospital.[1] In the episode "Kindred", Niki and Micah visit D. L.'s grave before leaving Las Vegas.
Which I suppose doesn't mean anything because we are only still TOLD he's dead...

Ok, now that makes me think DL is either with Niki and both faked his death or he's with The Company (having no other options for work being a convict and doing what he can do, he'd probably go for an opportunity at some decent work even if it's a bit nefarious. Niki may or may not be in on it with him. They may have also agreed to join up with *insert clandestine organization here* if the org. agreed to keep Micah out of it and he would be provided for/protected).
