Is it just me, but "The Sarah Jane Adventures"? Feels more like Classic Who than Who or Torchwood, y/n? And not just for the presence of one Sarah Jane Smith?
Current Music:mutiny, i promise you - the new pornographers
They are just a bit obsessed with Personal Problems themselves in the other series, aren't they? Not that there's anything wrong with romance and sex on telly (one of the more obvious differences of TSJA to the others), but... the way it seems to be written? Very exclusivist and self-obsessive. Which is there to an extent in any sort of story with heavy romance or sex elements, but... I don't think it really has to be to the extent in can sometimes happen in Who/TW. [/rambling]
I sometimes wonder if that may be a point in Donna coming back? Make it less self-obsessed (which, to Rusty, thus makes it less about romance/sex)? *hides from Nos*
