If the leader of the "Rock'em Sock'em Robots" seems to have a blinking deficiency (as in, he doesn't)? EVOL!
Also a name strikingly resemblant of a Faerie King who liked to push around foolish mortals like pieces on a chess board? Not too comforting either. Although it does seem to want to lean toward team orgy fic... speaking of smut...
Rodney's Replicator subconscious anal probe? The slash fiction just writes itself, doesn't it? ;)
Asurans, perhaps inspired by this?
"Parents who betrayed them"? The Ancients version of Michael, then? Of course, the "Why should we trust you?" / "Because we're trusting *you*" pretty much screams the parallel. Although Weir's theory on Asurans seeing "humans as the favored siblings"...? Not that I'm questioning that theory, because it's probably true, but... the humans in the Pegasus Galaxy got a pretty raw deal by way of the Ancients. Of course, I'd want to say the Tau'ri/Terrans had a better card dealt for them where Ancients were concerned (Their contributions aided Earth civilization greatly and Earth's progression eventually led to other alliances with and access to resources of the Asgard, Free Jaffa, etc that's aided Earth development and defense all the more and considerably. As well as a fresher dose of the ATA gene in the Earth bloodlines. Apart from the Jaffa living as slaves, for the most part, MW / Earth human development was by no means stunted as the PegaHumans had been)... but then there are the Goa'uld and namely the Ori (whom the ascended Ancients give little aide to the MW galaxy but a good luck as they're keeping decidedly incommunicado for the most part). However, MW humans had their trials, but there *was* development. The PegaHumans? They were abandoned to the tender mercies of not only the Wraith (only keeping enough humans around to feed on and always keeping them under the heel), but apparently the Asurans were out there all along as well (granted, the Ancients seemed to believe they'd completely destroyed the Asurans, but they obviously hadn't done as good a job as they'd thought). Maybe the Asurans were no threat to the PegaHumans, but with Oberoth's adamance that they were ready to mobilize against the Wraith at their whim? Since they did not a thing to aide any of those humans out there from being Wraith livestock, I doubt their ultimate plan (if they had one) would have been vaguely for the benefit of the PegaHumans or it if was, it would have been secondary.
Although *that's* what Atlantis would look like if it flew? Nice. Too bad it's the Evil Twin version of Atlantis. It also looks like this ep (and it's counterpart) are the eps they blew the wad on. These effects are quite pretty. Weir got to see a city burn... remarkably similar to Atlantis (apart from all the massive add-ons). How lovely for her.
Poor Niam. I forgot Reps don't need to breath (they can survive in space). Well, there he is.
I really want to know what Ronon's hand canon is made of. Too bad SG1 didn't have a few of those, it might have helped fighting their humanform Reps. At least been a little more effective than what they did have until Thor fished out the specs from Jack's head to make that special Ancient Rep Blaster. It's probably tactless, but why don't they go back to Sateda and raid the weapons caches? They're obviously still in tact (c/o "Sateda"). Or was Ronon's weapon some prototype?
Next week... just a guess, but it looks like Weir is going to take Sam's place by way of "New Order".
