Old news, but that Hanso Foundation site has updated (I think Thursday?) with the Silent Hill-ish, supercreepy vid from "Orientation".

"Orientation" is re-running at the moment and I'm sitting here re-watching ... just to get pissed at the Emmy people all over again. *sighs*

ETA: [ "The journey to the other side of the island begins"... Sawyer, Michael, Jin, Ana-Lucia (and "Adebisi") approach a door, then they're walking through (underground?) tunnels. Michael is talking to Libby in a room with maybe about seven people in it (not including Michael & Libby)

Michael: I thought you said there were 23 of you?
Libby: There were.

I presume this is was Kristin was talking about in regards to "The Others" murdering (most of?) the tailaways. Yet our original Lostaways/Redshirts number, what? About 43/44?

From the Lost/Invasion promo... there's more than this, but this is all I remember at the moment.

Ana Lucia (presumedly at Sawyer): You don't like the rules, I toss you back in the pit!

Jack asking someone "How much did you tell her?" (I think it was "her" anyway).

Sayid and Jack looking into what looks like another hatch inside the hatch. Sayid in a long tunnel? Looks like the Lostaways are going even deeper underground.

There was also a brief shot of Shannon and Claire (holding Aaron) together.
]

Not too bad at all, although I'm still hoping someone bitchslaps Charlie. Hard.

Remember that building they showed in the orientation video, where they focus in on a man in a window? According to this article (http://www.dagbladet.no/kultur/2005/10/07/445691.html) it's from Narvik, and the man might be a former city councilman (I think that's the correct title) and father of an upper league soccer coach. If you're interested I could translate the article for you.

I think Lost Media translated the article already, but thanks for the offer. *g* I haven't really read it yet, but caught the headline. The building footage was "stolen"? Are they going to take legal action?

They think it was stock footage, but there's no plans for legal action that I've heard of. The guy they think it is and his son finds it very funny, though none of them watch the show I think they might now. The channel airing it here has contacted BV to find out where they got the footage from, but that's more because of the amusement factor than anything else.

I was just watching Locke cry in his beetle and thinking, "Terry O'Quinn was robbed." I mean, William Shatner. What the fuck?

I guess he's pretty good on "Boston Legal" from what I've seen. Meh. But Shat's role in BL is much more a comedic one. TOQ knocks it out of the damn ballpark every. single. week. on "Lost" (and Locke is an irrefutably dramatic character). Keeps what could be a ridiculous, grand-standing character grounded and *human*.

Folks at TWOP, and I concur, think what must have happened was the vote got split between TOQ and NA for the "Lost" nom. Alda already has a closet full of Emmys and the academy likely didn't want to give him another... so Shat got it.
