Just read this on TWOP... and I'm incredibly nervous.

From spoilerfix.com:

06/02 - During a radio interview for L.A. rock station KROQ, J.J. Abrams said that the network and one of the actors on the show couldn't agree to terms on a new contract and therefore the actor will be payed his desired rate for one or two episodes and then he said the actor will be killed off the show and won't be featured in any flashback sequences.

If it's Naveen (and I have this terrible gut feeling it is)... I. will. effing. cry. I JUST got into the show and my favorite character gets killed off like two eps into the second season? GOD! But the idea of any of the actors leaving is just horrible. I like all the male characters on the show! >But. Being wholly truthful, I probably wouldn't be that upset if Michael got killed. It would be sad for Walt, but I could see him easily dying during a rescue... but then they all could, perhaps barring Jack and Sawyer. They're kind of the male leads in my eyes, Jack definitely. It's painful though thinking about how easy it would be to kill off any of them. ::sobs:: Not Sayid damn it!

Not to mention, if Sayid dies, Shannon is going to completely lose her shit.

btw, JJA also confirmed Michelle Rodriguez coming in as a regular next season and apparently one of the writers was researching Che Guevara in building her character as a leader.

I'm scared it's Naveen too. They were saying he was unhappy way back before Boone's death. And poor Shannon is going to think she's bad luck like Hurley.

I've heard the same stuff. I hear he was rather lukewarm about the Finale when asked about it. NA tends to be bluntly honest in most of the interviews I've read... and I agree the Finale wasn't as good as it could have been... but reading stuff like that doesn't do anything for that knot in my stomach. :cries: I knew he's been lined up for at least two different upcoming projects, a retelling of The Ten Commandments and another movie with Aishwarya Rai. Writing on the wall?

Maybe they'll bring in Alex thus curing Danielle... and leaving Shannon to wander the woods as the new resident crazy lady? Tragic thing about this is it would painfully tie into that stuff in the finale, wondering if the island was punishing them for past indiscretions. Shannon will believe she's being punished for all her romantic debacles and manipulation... losing two men she loves in such close succession. Just horrible.

Seriously. This whole potential losing Sayid thing... it would be like if JJA killed off Sark in the second episode of season 2 "Alias" or something. I probably could cope, but that omnipresent 'meh' feeling would always be looming watching the rest of the season. Maybe I'm being a big fatalistic baby and there's been no confirmation on the departee yet obviously. It's also not like JJA can really do anything if the actor really doesn't want to stick around... but damn it all! Sayid is the cool & collected brains with the troubled past. He's kind and sensitive, yet could turn on the menace like a flick of a switch. Not to mention he looks devilishly fine in that wifebeater. He's such an intense character. I just don't know how they could possibly fill that void if he left.

It's not Naveen. No way.

*plugs ears and humms loudly*

OTOH...hehe, Che. That makes me happy.

On one side, I regret reading the above (there isn't even a name, it could be any of the actors. Perhaps barring Fox, TOQ and maybe Dom)... but on the other, I just want to know. So I can be prepared to take the blow when it comes (have the liquor and chocolate on stand-by and in full supply).

OTOH...hehe, Che. That makes me happy.

Viva la revolución! ;) That's pretty much a neon sign telling us what her character is going to be like, isn't it? Not to mention the indirect pretty Gael flashes I get every time I read "Che Guevara" now. Plusses.

Hehe, I get those too. Mmmm...Gael.

I wonder if her character will start a socilist revolution on the island? Because I would totally be down with that if it meant Jack got thrown off of his high horse..
