Lost Update at Spoilerfix
Jun. 2nd, 2005 01:30 pmJust read this on TWOP... and I'm incredibly nervous.
From spoilerfix.com:
06/02 - During a radio interview for L.A. rock station KROQ, J.J. Abrams said that the network and one of the actors on the show couldn't agree to terms on a new contract and therefore the actor will be payed his desired rate for one or two episodes and then he said the actor will be killed off the show and won't be featured in any flashback sequences.
If it's Naveen (and I have this terrible gut feeling it is)... I. will. effing. cry. I JUST got into the show and my favorite character gets killed off like two eps into the second season? GOD! But the idea of any of the actors leaving is just horrible. I like all the male characters on the show! >But. Being wholly truthful, I probably wouldn't be that upset if Michael got killed. It would be sad for Walt, but I could see him easily dying during a rescue... but then they all could, perhaps barring Jack and Sawyer. They're kind of the male leads in my eyes, Jack definitely. It's painful though thinking about how easy it would be to kill off any of them. ::sobs:: Not Sayid damn it!
Not to mention, if Sayid dies, Shannon is going to completely lose her shit.
btw, JJA also confirmed Michelle Rodriguez coming in as a regular next season and apparently one of the writers was researching Che Guevara in building her character as a leader.

Date: 2005-06-02 07:46 pm (UTC)Maybe they'll bring in Alex thus curing Danielle... and leaving Shannon to wander the woods as the new resident crazy lady? Tragic thing about this is it would painfully tie into that stuff in the finale, wondering if the island was punishing them for past indiscretions. Shannon will believe she's being punished for all her romantic debacles and manipulation... losing two men she loves in such close succession. Just horrible.

Viva la revolución! ;) That's pretty much a neon sign telling us what her character is going to be like, isn't it? Not to mention the indirect pretty Gael flashes I get every time I read "Che Guevara" now. Plusses.

I wonder if her character will start a socilist revolution on the island? Because I would totally be down with that if it meant Jack got thrown off of his high horse..
