I'm sure many a rabid Potterphile on my friends list enjoys reading some random book 6 predictions as the next rabid Potterphile. Well, there are some lovely editorials by Bob Sindeldecker that I had the pleasure of encountering last weekend and, for those not yet familiar with them, I just had to share.
Of course, I probably also should include an advisory that they're particularly lovely if you lean towards H/Hr and keep an open mind (especially about some of the Ron speculations). I know not all of y'all have said leaning(s). I've also exchanged one or two e-mails with Señor Sindeldecker. He is very cool people and has some very intriguing ideas. Hopefully I can convince him to get an LJ so he can share his daily Potter zen. ;) heee
I do have thoughts in regards to the above editorials, but they'd be better with canon quotes and that's going to take awhile longer.
I also just felt like delurking in honor of POA's R1 DVD release tomorrow (WEE!). I'm so Cuaron's bitch. Although between that, the Spidey 2 DVD coming out on the 30th, ROTK:EE next month *and* Christmas shopping to boot? Who's going to be one broke hopeless nerd? ME! However, if I do get everything on my Christmas list? I'll be broke... but with a stupid grin on my face the whole. damn. time.

Lost me on the Lupin/Trelawney prediction, but the Snape is gay and is the lover of Firenze thing really made me snort. Firenze is half horse. Also, really doubt homosexuality would be mentioned in the books other than in a metaphorical way, as with most intolerance in the books, (like Lupin saying people wouldn't want 'his kind' teaching their children).
But he does have some good points.

Although it's an interesting idea to imagine what the Christian Fundamentalists - some of whom already think the books are of the devil - would do if JKR did introduce a homosexual character. What's worse than burning a book and trying to get it banned (which they pretty much already do)? Probably just doubling up their efforts.
