retro_eidasI am familiar with "Silent Hill", "Final Fantasy", "Xenogears"... some of the bigger games out there. Although honestly I play/buy a lot of them because I love the look to them. Gorgeous animation and cinematics. I don't enjoy playing them so much since my hand/eye coordination is pretty lousy. lol I do try to play games like "Silent Hill" because I am a bit of a horror-junkie. I always keep my eye open for the scary games. This one looks like it fits quite securely in that category...
If you register at Gamespot you can watch the trailer pulled from Japanese TV. Apparently it was too scary for the kiddies. ;) It's a clever concept, although I think the full trailer is scarier.
Gaming is getting crazy though, isn't it? That animation almost doesn't look like animation... it looks a little too real. I assume a lot of the caps Gamespot has aren't the actual gameplay but the cinematics in between... still. Freaky. I'm definitely investing in this one when it hits U.S. shelves. IF it hits U.S. shelves.
