Ult X-Men #46
Apr. 26th, 2004 10:28 pmI'm not sure what the legalities are with this, but Mile High Comics has apparently posted the entirety of Ultimate X-Men #46 on their website.
Since Ult. X-Men is one of the only X-Titles of which I'm not hopelessly clueless...
I read somewhere that Ult X-Men was originally designed to be a homage or spin-off to the movies in some form. Well it looks like it is the most movie-like of the other titles... Rogue/Bobby? Funny thing is I think this R/B is kind of cute. The one in the movies is kind of blah.
Storm looks like she's having some kind of nervous breakdown and she's raiding Dazzler's wardrobe.
Corsair? I suppose we're just a few issues away from the Starjammers then? Eh.
"Mister" Sinister. He's ditched the tentacle cape and Eric Draven make-up... but he still does nothing for me. Also looks like he and Wolvie go to the same gym. Jaysus. Bally's Total Fitness has nothing on this
And good LORD... the Colossus/Wolvie HoYay! "I want you to cut me"? That's just all kinds of sick and kinky.

Date: 2004-04-29 04:11 am (UTC)I like Ultimate. It seems to tell stories in a way that's different then the run of the mill comic style. It also has a very movie-feel to it... which is probably why I like it.
And so nice of them to scan these babies online. For free.
Ain't it though? And me being too lazy to wander to the comics shop after work. Convenient ;)
