The fanmix only took me about 20 mins, but that's the first and probably last picspam I'm ever making. lol Although I thought it was about time I delurked on chloe_davis (before any total implosion of the ship to have a place to go weep openly. Damn them for writing an awesome ship only with "DOOMED" spray painted across it from the getgo!).

I know. spoilers turn me aploplectic. however I have this insane idea that Davis may be just the character temporarily being sent away this season via the phantom zone and back next season for a storyline with Chloe. hope springs eternal. And Beast! we'll enjoy it while we can, anyways.

That blue crystal of Tess' did practically have a neon sign over it saying, "Foreshadowing!" I do hope you're right and they keep Doomsday alive, just to keep a TINY possibility of Davis returning somehow. Maybe for the series finale or something and Chloe (finally!!) gets a happy ending. It would be a damn shame SV lost Sam Witwer. He's seriously one of the best things this show has ever had going for it next to AM, Michael Rosenbaum and John Glover.

Of course, I suppose SW could come back as Zod too. In a twisted way I might actually be fine with that... as long as Allison was playing Faora. ;) Their love would be so megalomaniacal!

From the looks of that promo, we may already be up for some of that. Hell, Chloaic was tossing Clark *and* Legion around. If I were going to be batshit, I'd almost wonder if AM's stint as Chloaic and obvs SW's as Doomsday may have given the writers inspiration to both actors shifting entirely to villain roles in S9/S10? I would prefer Chloe and Davis, but AM and SW could totally work the (hot like burning) villainy.

Here is me being hopeful (and a glutton for punishment), but I'm going to say that kiss we see in the promo is a dream, but *crosses fingers* for unexpected real kissage later in the ep. Maybe towards the end, after Chlavis have stopped somewhere. It's really hitting Chloe that she's left her life and friends behind, she's getting upset, Davis hugs her as he does when she gets like that. Chloe looks at him, just as comforting and sweet as he ever was, truly realizing Davis would never hurt her. So, she... takes the initiative. ;) Because, by damn, she's now going to spend the rest of her days keeping Dooms from killing Clark / destroying the world... and she's not going to let some nightmares scare her away from what her subconscious is screaming at her she really wants!! [/grasps at straws]
