Why would Skynet build such human-like terminators? Easier infiltration to plug Adama John Connor in the chest when they least suspect it? Was there any awareness or worry about free will or did they compensate for that (the humanitor truly has no free will at all and whatever it does or says, will kill John Connor eventually)? However, maybe the potential for free will was purposeful? As often with these robot armageddon stories, the robot always tries to be more human, either to devastating or miraculous (quite literally, in this circumstance the robot almost always ends up a God or Jesus stand-in) consequences. Sam Worthington's character = new John Connor, mebbe??

And on an entirely shallow note, goddamn, Sam Worthington makes for a very pretty robot. Clearly, Skynet needs to abandon the whole world domination/destroy all humans program and get into the Real Doll making.

For some reason, I've been avoiding trailers. But seeing this makes me wish May would get here sooner!

I was worried about this because - with McG directing - I thought it was going to end up apocalypse by way of Charlie's Angels... but this actually looks damn good. Or at least the popcorn probably won't be wasted. WEEE!! Between the above and the promo for the next eps of TSCC (http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid14602162001/bclid14539929001/bctid14624346001) which also looks good? I'm giddy off the Terminator right now.
