retro_eidasA sick, sad part of me is sort of curious (again) what Jason Statham would be like as Eleven. Maybe not all that curious since Statham has pretty much admitted the cockney gangster is the only character he can play (as if he needed to say it). A Doctor that repeatedly defeats Daleks mano-a-plunger? "MY. VISION. IS. IMPAIRED. THE SOD.DIN. DOC.TOR. GAVE. US. A. KICK.IN." It's a pretty clear image really, all that's missing is Vin Diesel as the Master and Megan Fox as the nu companion.
On the bright side, even if the TARDIS suddenly looked like this, I'd imagine the soundtrack would be a lot more "Life on Mars" than Murray Gold. Fuck yeah!!
