Pam in Singapore: Any scoop on John and Cameron's relationship on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles?
Cameron says those three little words to John in the first episode—which is wacky, seeing as how she's a sociopathic robot. Right?

I can't imagine that means what I think it means. It's probably "I'll be back" or "Terminate John Connor". Cam does look like she's gone a bit screwy and is trying to kill John and Sarah in one of those previews. However, with the toying around of the hormonal future savior of humanity being hot for not only one of the machines he's intended to save humanity from, but one posing as his sister? How deliciously fucked up. More in that John is apparently supposed to have a pretty, blonde ladyfriend this season that I imagine will have some issues with Cam of some kind or maybe at least wonder how disturbingly close John really is to his sister.

My guess is Cam really does say those words to John, but also tries to kill him and his mommy, all thanks to whatever totally loosened her screws. However, another Cam from the future shows up just in time to deal with and replace the screwy one. Nope, I'm not even going to think about the paradoxes that would be problematic with that, but then this show isn't about the thinking. More about explosions and what a whiny, emokid the future savior of humanity is (also Lena Heady and Summer Glau being really fierce in tank tops or something).

I love this show but trying to think about the paradoxes just hurts my head. There is no way that they would turn out well unless they can somehow loop back into each other by the end. Which is highly doubtful.

That's true, but I get an impression the writers aren't too concerned about paradoxes one way or another. *sighs* However, another possibility is - as Cam does seem to have gone a bit wonky based on the promos - that she says whatever she does due to wonkiness, but also to manipulate John. Knowing he has feelings for her (either via his 16-yr-old self, his future incarnation or both), so knows just what to say to get him to hesitate from killing her or something. Although probably left up in the air just enough through the season wondering if she really meant it or not or just said it to stop him. Cameron is never creepier when she's doing something particularly human and this would fall right along those lines. Also add extra dramas (and creepy) when John gets that pretty new human girlfriend.

I made the icon. Unfortunately, I didn't save the cap I made the icon from, I usually delete the caps I use after I make the icons I need. Googling it, I'm not sure how much you found, but the lion is from the movie Azur et Asmar (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0439123/). You're free to use the icon if you like, just as long as you give me credit. ;)

The movie itself is exquisite. It's my current obsession right now (hence all the icons, lol).
