*SOBS* Well, it's over.

"The next great American civil war." Best and worst line spoken in my entire TV viewing experience. That and Beck's, "Tell the men to get ready, we've got a fight coming." GOD!!! It can't end here!! It can't!!

Various reasons why this just can't end:

• Hawkins precarious mortality (but he will survive as my brain refuses to believe him susceptible to such things as death like that of mere mortals)
  
• Texas to the rescue!!!
  
• Beck has only JUST signed up to the revolution and he and Heather must do sex
  
• The Jericho Militia, led by Jake, Hawkins and Beck... and maybe Eric, who did show his inner-Green rejecting Constantino's happy soldier hunting ways.
  
• Stimi babies
  
• THE CIVIL WAR!!!
  
• And the inevitable international response. Wonder how the UN would react to the fact Cheyenne blew away two countries to cover their own asses (ASses?)

*cries some more*

Perhaps I'll be more coherent after a re-watch, but right now? GAH!! Damn you CBS, DAMN YOU!!

I swear I am not stalking you but you have some of the best insight into Jericho and I just love reading your thoughts on the show.

I am right along with you and I can't believe they canceled this show that has so much potential. I want to see how it is all supposed to play out. It may not have been as explosive as the ending was last season but in a lot of ways it is similar. There is a war that they leave us in the middle of again and we don't know the outcome! Wahhhh....

And have you seen the commercials for the atrocity they're putting in "Jericho's" timeslot? Yeah, CBS really can fuck off forever.

There is a war that they leave us in the middle of again and we don't know the outcome! Wahhhh....

I'm still *crossing fingers* for maybe a direct-to-DVD movie series or very best case scenario a miniseries (come on Showtime!! You KNOW you want to!!), otherwise... I guess I really don't have much hope in ever seeing the glorious saga of Hawkins, Jake and Beck + the Rangers - at least the way it's meant to be seen - obliterating the great evil of Dick Cheney Valente and John Smith. This realization is a sad, sad one indeed. I have a very hard time imagining Sci-Fi or CW doing "Jericho" the way it's mean to be done, most especially the epic storylines S3 would have had in store.

Please oh intrawebs gods of fanfic! Give us Heather/Beck smut decent fanfic to tide us over until your tv gods cousins get their heads out of their asses, kick open their coffers and give us a grand, epic war to remember!
