retro_eidasJames Marsters really doesn't look all that buff a guy, average build really, but that scene on the parking garage? Captain John lifted that thug with the knife about a half foot off the ground, then held him over the side of the building all with one arm. Like I said, it probably doesn't have any relevance to the plot (it certainly wasn't addressed in KKBB) and probably just chalks up to general skiffy Otherness or something to make him look cool, but Capt. John seems to be considerably stronger than the average person? Jack - apart from the immortality thing we know he got due to Bad Wolf - doesn't seem any stronger than the run-of-the-mill fit bloke. At least I've never seen him lift men up off the ground seemingly with no effort at all. Maybe it's some Time Agent trick, nanites or Captain John isn't all human. Just a bit I found odd (that probably won't ever get an explanation, but who knows I suppose. Maybe he isn't all human and he's part Judoon or something *shrugs*).
I remember people making a big to-do about those posters after "The Sound of Drums". If they mean anything, considering that's one of the eps Captain Jack guest-starred in Who (and they "return(ed) to last night" at the end of in KKBB) and also a lot of folks drawing the parallels between Jack/John and the Doctor/Master? Those posters? Probably a cutesy reference to KKBB's ending, if anything. And no, I have no fucking idea why I still remember obscure posters/mad Who conspiracy theories from post-TSOD. Ah, my brain, full of so much useless shite.
