I'm back and I'm dead tired, but thankfully not in any at all process of recovering from a hangover.

I did manage to get my hands on the Who Christmas special, but I've only managed to watch the first 30 mins of it due to lots of running around drinking eggnog and trying not to freeze to death. I'll probably finish the rest of it over the weekend. Although a bit tragic the "probably" factors in at all in my Who fanon anymore (but based on the reviews I've skimmed through on the flist, can't say I'm much encouraged... and this following the opus of blue floating fairy jesus. Just peachy). Although in other Chrimbo Who fanon, got "The Invasion" as a stocking stuffer from the bro as I raved the wonders of the Second Doctor at him (and force-fed him - as he's not quite into the Who thing as I am - "The Mind Robber" which he ended up finding surprisingly good) and he delivered! YAY!

Nintendo Wii is as hopelessly addictive as I predicted I'd find it. Played Elebits until very sad hours of the morning post-Christmas.

Also saw "Sweeney Todd" which was quite good despite my low tolerance for movies after 1970 where people frequently burst into song. However, it would seem to prove yet again and somewhat amusedly to me that no matter how pretty the Pretty Boy they have acting against Johnny Depp the Pretty Boys will almost always end up coming off either too emo, too bland and/or sometimes a counterproductive to Pretty Boy status (fug). And Johnny Depp was caked in the goth kid spackle on top of it all. Although Pretty Boy in "Sweeney Todd" did keep vaguely reminding me of Richard Ashcroft for some reason, which I found distracting and might have been putting me off him. Whatever. Excellent regardless, might even see it again this weekend.
