Out of curiosity, do you differentiate between unorthodox and unconventional when talking about ships?

To be honest, I'm not sure what to say. Nice question, by the way. Considering that Riddle is somehow similar to Harry, and that he should not be a muggle hating sociopath and assuming Hermione likes Harry, well maybe- maybe it could have happened. Anway how do you come up with such question? ;)

Equal parts boredom and (morbid) curiosity. ;)

Tom was "possibly one of the most brilliant students Hogwarts has ever seen" and Hermione is "one of the cleverest witches her age". Both are described as overly studious, meticulous and ambitious. I don't know, to me, their personas seem very much alike (as I said, hypothetically speaking, if Riddle hadn't been a psycho muggle hater).

Also Hermione is a Virgo and Tom Riddle is most likely a Capricorn. Virgos/Capricorns tend to get on splendidly together and make great marriages. [/Miss Cleo]

I don't know if there is either, but I don't remember coming across the description unorthodox ship before, so I wanted to know if it had different connotations.
