This movie? It's going to be so. very. sweet. Ghost in the Shell: Innocence (new int'l trailer). Must see this now! Even if it had zero story... it's like every fancy anime trick with the whizbang computer animation and a bad ass sdtk (which I annoy the hell out of my co-workers with, only one of them speaks Japanese and she's more into the Ayumi Hamasaki bubblegum jpop scene). I want to see this like I want to see "Sky Captain". The pretty revolution has come folks.


[random geekness] Marvel wants to break into television once and for all? They can team up with Shinchiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo) or Mamoru Oshii (GITS) or Rumiko Takahashi (Inu-yasha, Ranma 1/2).. or dare I say it, :gasps: Yoshitaka Amano (Vampire Hunter D). Although I'm not sure my geek nature could stand that many rapturous nerdgasms.... Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, (Dark) Phoenix flying around all big-eyed, angsty-brooding-male-leads, blood-soaked and/or super-sexy... but retaining that higher-end story telling quality, not compromising any of that integrity? It's too much to hope for, too many egos and too much red tape... it would never happen. Although if it did DC wouldn't be bitchslapping Marvel in TV like they so pathetically are now. prophecies really suck, don't they?

I don't know why, but I'm sitting here time-wasting wondering what would happen if Voldemort somehow found out about the Prophecy. Just thinking about the Prophecy in general.

The thoughts I've been lingering on? Dude. Some really effing pretty shit.

Most of the HP contingent of my FL are probably familiar with my Weasley/White King crazy. All that spec about Voldie seducing someone who would likely learn about the prophecy. That's fucked up in itself.

( HP SPEC (Voldemort kicking ass and taking names, DD's prophecy preparations, blah di blah)! Because work is overrated. )

When is Book 6 coming out again? UGH. Too far. Whatever the date.
