( Guillermo del Toro Has Seen Harry Potter 3 (and likes it a lot) )
Could you have imagined a Harry Potter movie directed by Guillermo "Blade 2" del Toro?
Harry: Expecto fucking Patronum you ugly ass motherfuckers!! ::Hermione - doning a leather mini-skirt and tight Gryffindor tank top - is hanging limply in Harry's black leathered arms.... thousands of empty ammo shells strewn everywhere::
I am being unfair since del Toro is an accomplished director and has shown more than enough skill working with kids without fancy Matrix couture, a massive weapons cache and/or plentiful use of the "F" word. "Devil's Backbone" is enough proof of that (to me, it's his best film). However, even that has a very different environment then the HP universe. His most notable film at the moment is still "Blade 2", but "Hellboy" is also coming up. The director of "Blade 2" and "Hellboy" doing HP. It's amusing... and a little scary.
