Gambit manips

I made a Jonathan Rhys Meyers-Gambit manip out of boredom. The Michael Vartan-Gambit pic is a few months old, but I've never posted it here.





I made that MV-Gambit manip during an "Alias" high. I'm not sure I really see him as Gambit, but I just wanted an excuse to stare at an MV pic for like an hour. ;)

JRM is one of my favorites for Gambit. Scott Speedman too, but that manip didn't turn out as well.

Aww Remy! I so adore the Gambit;) And your pics are well done- though I thought "scott!" while looking at the second one- maybe it´s the haircut. *shrugs* My own version of Gambit was this guy-> (if you can´t see the pic because I did something wrong it´s uploaded under just-in-dreams.com/maerrie/gambit!.jpg )

Lovely manips! I think Michael could pull off the Gambit act pretty well. And while I don't really see Orlando as Gambit, I did a manip awhile back:

Ooh, I very much dig the Vartan manip! And all the detail you put into the eyes in both manips.

I still can't pick one particular actor I'd think would make a good Gambit. Isn't he supposed to be younger than Rogue? I'm afraid that if they ever did put him in the movies, they'd make a big deal about it, make the casting top secret, and then it'll turn out that movie!Gambit's a 12-year old boy.

I think it is the hair. JRM is sporting the clean-cut hair in the above. Clean-cut is pretty much Cyke's whole character. I probably should have manipulated some shaggier hair onto him... but I'm lazy. ;)

Your Remy definitely has a swaggering quality to him and he's got the hair... but who is that? I don't recognize him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Orlando Bloom is at least approached to play Gambit, regardless if he is Gambit or not. He's the 20-something hot commodity these days. Although I think he's going to be too busy with that big Ridley Scott movie.

If he were asked and accepted, it would be amusing if Gambit were in the Brotherhood. Gandalf and Legolas turned naughty. ;)

I don't think so...? Then again, I'm not remotely a comics expert. He looks older than Rogue in most comics I've seen. I'd probably bet he's cast slightly older (it's hard to lust after a pre-pubescent). It would be funny though if he were 12. The rabid contingent of Gambit fans would go ballistic. heee

Although the idea of Gambit, I wouldn't be against it, but they'd really have to cast someone who is next to godly in his hotness. He'd have to be competing with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine for Mr. Swoonworthy... which is quite possibly a battle lost before it's begun. In a sense, how are we supposed to believe this punk-ass, swarthy new guy gets more play than walking sex-incarnate HJ's Wolvie without losing the male persuasion of the audience?

Dark Horizons posted a rumor a little while back there might be a solo Gambit movie. That doesn't sound very viable to me, but if they made it, I'd watch it ;)

So the guy in the manip is called Dick Brave (don´t laugh!)- he´s a german singer (formerly known as sasha)- was a teeny star and is now more into rock- quite cute if you ask me;)

Unfortunately, the only German musicians I know are Rammstein. He does look pretty cute though. Like I said, kind of swaggery, which is very Gambit.
