I'm pretty sure one is Anna, she wasn't in 'The End', where the heck was she otherwise?
And, uhm...because it's Kristen, and she said 'fan favorite', the other character will be another no one cares about I suppose...I'd say Ellen because she's not in 'The End' either, and because if they kill Jo I WILL CRY.

I could see it being the Ghostfacers coming back, but considering the nature I'm speccing they could come back? I could see how killing the comic relief would work in SPN's favor.

I kind of hope it's Bobby too because the drama/angst of that would be horribly good, but I have to admit wouldn't destroy me as much as Cas dying would. That would still suck though, you know they'd kill Bobby right after he got back the use of his legs or something.

Knowing this show, one will be a woman. The other might be Bobby, sadly. And I'm afraid for Cas. The more slashy gleefullness those writers give us, the more I fear he will die and s6 will go back to the strong Dean/Sam. This prospet does not please me. The Cas part, I mean. I loves the Dean/Sam like gooey chocolate brownies.

Although if the Apocalypse arc ends with S5? Unless he's gone human (which I doubt since that would require changing which Dean - and I doubt Cas, since he never wanted to fall to begin with - doesn't seem to want, even if in this timeline Cas going human could go differently) I really wouldn't know what Cas would still be doing there. Not to say they couldn't use an angel ally even sans-Apocalypse, but the impression I get is when their tasks are over, the angels flit off to Heaven and stay there. The angels hadn't been on Earth for 2000 years prior 4.01. *grumbles*

I'm clinging to the scenario this timeline Cas still goes human, but it's not something he's essentially forced into, it's his choice. I'm not holding my breath for it though. *sadface*

I really, really hope they are not dumb enough to kill off Cas or Ellen. Both are too loved and awesome to die. I don't want Jo to die either, I want her to be DEVELOPED.

Anna, though. DIE. Ghostfacers? Make my day! Bobby? I don't really care.

There are many characters I could handle dying, maybe even welcome it, but Cas dying? You know, I probably could handle it, but they'd have to do it so carefully and epically, I'm afraid it wouldn't live up to his character / his rel'p with Dean. Like something that big (which is IMO, obvs, but seriously, Cas is a new regular now, he really can't just fall off some scaffolding or something) is bound to come off disappointing somehow.

Since Castiel just died at the beginning of the season, I think it would be lame for him to die again this soon. I'm hoping that means it will be someone else I kinda want to see die. Best of both worlds for ME! ;)

Seriously though, I'm obsessed with post-apoc scenarios. If they did do 5.04: The Season? That would make me cry sweet, sweet fangirly tears. Obviously though, Sam can't be Samifer, no junkie Cas and Dean needs to smile more.

As long as it's not Cas I don't really care who has to die but I doubt that I could handle another favorite character being killed off.

I think that we can safely exclude those characters that were in 'The End', right? My money is on Anna, I bet Kristen thinks she's a fan favorite...

I hope you're right. Actually, I'm pretty sure that we can exclude everyone from The End, even though some fans think Zach sent Dean to some elaborate make believe future instead of the actual end. The show is not that subtle, so unless we find out that it wasn't the real future I believe that they'll survive at least the next five years.
And since this is one of the most fan servicing show ever, I doubt they would rob themselves of Cas, that would really be jumping the shark. Also lol at Anna being a fan favorite. As long as she doesn't get in the way of Dean/Cas I'm fine with her but if it turns out to be Anna we'd have one more proof that outsiders really don't know shit about fandom.

Kristen is dumb, in general AND especially regarding SPN. So yeah, Anna could be an option, and even though I didn't mind her I think they have basically ruined her character by not using her at all...
The other could be Ellen, she's a fan favorite (even if not mine)...as long as they don't kill Jo I'm okay with pretty much everyone of the suspects.

They can't kill Cas, Misha Collins resuscitated the show with his presence last year! He's the reason why I'm still watching, if I have to be honest :)

Well, I don't know whether I would still be watching hadn't it been for Castiel. I liked the show before but I it was just another show that Loved to watch I never even thought about entering its fandom until Cas.

And I agree, Misha is the reason that Supernatural is getting more attention, without him it would've been just another apocalypse.

The biggest problem is that we don't know if this is gonna be the last season or not. If it's the last season I wouldn't mind everyone dying in the end, well, of course I don't want it but that's what would make it good. If we get another season it's gotta be with Cas, otherwise I'll stop watching.

Oh I've been in fandom since half season 2, I love Dean and Sam to a fault, but season 3 was getting a little boring for me and I wouldn't have watched another season like that for sure! But Castiel turned up and now I'm hooked again.

Being maybe the last season I'd have thought it could be Sam and Dean dying you know? But then Kripke has always said that he's going to CLOSE his story in season 5 for sure, but that he's not sure yet if they'll have to continue anyway. If they do, they can't kill off the leads in season 5, so I believe Cas remains too (and I'd hope as a human then) :)

I'm still torn about season 6...I'm not sure they could pull it off, but on the other hand I'd be sad for SPN to end...it's the only show I watch!

This might be crazy sounding, but if there is an S6, I'm not even sure I want it to be about Dean & Sam. Or at least with them as main characters. Maybe they can use S6 as a start for some spin-off series? I just feel there's this finality to S5 that I haven't felt in the other seasons. Seriously dude, how much more 'final' is there then Armageddon? What would they do in S6? Unless God (or god) turned out to be evil or something in some spectacularly Gnostic fashion?

I WISH. I mean, obviously I couldn't like it much without Jensen Ackles on it, but yeah, a Castiel spin off someway would be good. Only, I don't know what they could tell...and with whom.
They should rethink everything, and IMO Kripke would end up doing something like that IF they got renewed (which they won't, come on). Oh well, after all J&J&M have signed for another season already (not sure about Misha though), so they COULD.

If this is the last season (at least the Dean & Sam chapter of it?), I do sort of want the Hamlet-ending. Cas dying is only really agony if I know there's an S6 in the works and there's no chance of him being in it anywhere. Misha!Cas is also a must. If Cas does fall or is reincarnated or whatever and comes back as a kid or a baby and not intended to grow up into a Misha Collins-shaped form? DNW!

The problem is Dean went to the future. Even if Zach's Oz turns out to be real? The future isn't set in stone, it can be changed/saved. Think of The Christmas Carol and the Ghost of Christmas Future. Maybe that's not the case for SPN, but I have my doubts we're going to be seeing Zach's Oz happen or if it does it probably won't be exactly like we saw it in 5.04. Dean, Sam and/or Cas would go to great lengths specifically to keep a future like that from happening. Even sacrifice themselves.

Also Kristen (or someone that works for her, anyway) does think she's a fan favorite. I doubt it'll be Cas; Misha still have eight episodes left on his contract and I doubt they'd pay him just to kill him off. I'm more worried about Cas dieing at the END of season five.

Some folks were speculating it might be for the finale. Kripke probably knows who's going to be dying this season, but I'd much rather think it's just for the midseason cliffhanger. Because you're right, Misha is signed on for the whole season, unless we're getting Cas(per) the Friendly Angel Ghost for the remaining eps and I doubt that very much.

At this point I think it really is a toss up. He was 'killed' in the season four final and they might not want to do that again, but if there is a sixth season Kripke will probably wrap up the angel storyline, which means either Cas falls, dies for good or goes back to Heaven.

Yeah, I kind of expect SOMEONE to die in the mid season cliffhanger. Kripke does love killing people off.
