Bobby is depressed and suicidal. Then Dean practically begs Bobby to not give up and keep fighting because he and Sam don't have much left. Which all seemed like SPN-speak to me, translated... Bobby is going to die. I hope I'm wrong. *wibbles*

Also, Patrick must come back. There also needs to be Patrick/Trickster fic in the future. Yes.

I liked this ep so much I didn't even miss Castiel! .....Ok, maybe a little when Dean was having the heart attack, but only then I SWEAR! ;)

oh yeah. if he doesn't bite it in 5x10, pretty sure he'll die in a later ep. :/

i kept waiting for cas to show up, lol. but yeah, it was much more entertaining than the other cas-less episode.

Seemed really telegraphed Bobby = imminently dead. Like anvil-dropping almost. My guess 5.14.

Much more awesome guest stars in this one made up for lack of Cas, I think. ;)

I'm mostly sure that Bobby will die in ep 10, but a tiny part of me is like 'THIS COULD ALL BE A CLEVER RUSE TO GET US TO THINK BOBBY'S GOING TO DIE WHEN RLY ITS CAS OR SOMETHING ;_;'

Pft, He didn't die that early in the 2014!Verse.

IDK IDK I don't think it's Cas because if they killed him they'd have to almost immediately resurrect him (Misha signed on for 17 eps this season). They just did that in 5.01. I know the boys have died a million times but they try to space out their dying a little bit. XD

I know Jim B is supposed to be in 5.14, but that could be anything in this show and not necessarily alive!Bobby. Bobby in flashback, dreams, ghost-form or shapeshifter-form or whatever. *sadface*

I'm glad I'm not the only one that got 'Bobby's going to die' vibes. He's so going to die. They've been foreshadowing it all season. And the Winchesters aren't allowed to have nice things.

I hope Patrick comes back. Especially because Dean did seem to like him despite everything.

We've had a lot of funny eps this season and barring the lack of money, I kind of assumed it's because things are going to get really serious in the second half. I imagine they'll be ushering it in midseason in a huge way too. Bobby (and probably Ellen) dying would be huge.

Patrick was awesome. He reminded me a lot of the Trickster, crazy powerful and not good, but not totally evil either (and I'm guessing a possible new ally in the final Hell vs. Earth vs. Heaven apocalyptic showdown). Dean liked the Trickster too for a lot of the same reasons IIRC.

The back end of the season is going to be pain followed by pain followed by some more pain for fun. I can't see how it would go any other way. This is not a show about nice things.

They best not be killing Ellen. I'll take Bobby dying over Ellen dying to be honest.

I'm hoping that some of the supernatural neutrals start throwing in on the side of the humans. That would really make things interesting.

I'm still suspecting they started the season off the way they did to appease the network. They were probably whinging last season at all the angst angst ANGST (and not enough totty to suit them).

The show tragically lacks fierce women, it's true. However, the fact she's over 30 kind of dooms her in my mind since it's this show. *rollseyes*

Really, it's about time they started building up an army, even if we never get to see the battles. Also Cas needs to be recruiting some of his more wayward brothers. It's not like Lucifer isn't going to take the initiative from approaching some of his old heavenly minions.

I'm also thinking that Bobby will die mid-season so he can go out like a hero. He sees his chance, he dives in the way of the Lucifer bad-killing-thing, and he gets his noble hunter death. Poor Bobby, poor boys. :(

I hope it does come off more heroic rather than suicidal, but last night's ep is worry-making. Sam was only just starting to get closer to Bobby too. :( If Bobby does die in 5.10, Jim B is apparently supposed to be in 5.14 too so I don't even know what that is about but more mindfuck of the boys. Unless God takes Bobby('s corpse) as a vessel, which would be equal parts disturbing, awesome and heart-wrenching.

[identity profile] sailorhathor.livejournal.com 2009-10-31 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Or maybe 5.14 is Ghost!Bobby or Flashback!Bobby or, like you said, some form of Vessel!Bobby. There really are too many possibilities with a supernatural show. :O
