Why would Skynet build such human-like terminators? Easier infiltration to plug
Adama John Connor in the chest when they least suspect it? Was there any awareness or worry about free will or did they compensate for that (the humanitor truly has no free will at all and whatever it does or says,
will kill John Connor eventually)? However, maybe the potential for free will was purposeful? As often with these robot armageddon stories, the robot always tries to be more human, either to devastating or miraculous (quite literally, in this circumstance the robot almost always ends up a God or Jesus stand-in) consequences. Sam Worthington's character = new John Connor, mebbe??
And on an entirely shallow note, goddamn, Sam Worthington makes for a very pretty robot. Clearly, Skynet needs to abandon the whole world domination/destroy all humans program and get into the Real Doll making.

They went that route to an extent in T3, possibly they didn't want to go there again as they seem to be doing all they can to pretend T3 never existed. Heh. ;)
