Why do they always walk towards the creepy shit? Why? Grotesque moving faceless mannequin nurses with sharp implements... run away perhaps? Just a suggestion.

Having just played through the series again (except the first game which I sadly do not have) I must say I can't wait for this. Those shots look great!!!!

I love how Gans has made good on his comments about keeping the original (deliciously creepy) game music in there. It really does seem like he's at least played the games. There's all kinds of shout-outs in that trailer... the radio going all staticky. The walls of 'hell' Silent Hill are perfect. The mist. Although one glaring (understandable) difference is that all the poor protagonist seems armed with is a lighter and a flashlight. Nice. No metal pipe or anything... and she strolls right up to those nurses then? Not smart lady.

I'm also curious on what they'll be doing with the (apparent?) subplot of the husband / Sean Bean's character. Two Harry Masons?
