I'd be hypocritical to say Dan isn't growing up to be quite a handsome young man. He is an attractive kid... but he IS just a kid. Isn't he about 16 now? Seriously. Editing to add, he's 14... not 16 (according to augusam). Yup. That seals it. The WB is going to hell (But then I've thought this since they renewed "Roswell" for season 2). What is all that half-light, model-mugging bullshit? Jaysus. heee The studios are shameless... but then I knew this. Although, every time I see pictures like that, I just break into giggles. Not because I think Dan is liek sOOOO hot or whatnot, but Dan really isn't how I pictured Harry at all. In pictures like the above, he's even less like Harry. Harry - prior Dan's casting - in my head was like Adrien Brody in "The Pianist", but a kid. Awkward, really skinny and gangly but kind of cute in a I've had a crappy life downtrodden sort of way. Instead we have this handsome little kid who makes me wish I was 14 again (of course, I wish that regularly anyway when I have rent, car insurance or student loan payments due).

Yet, Dan IS Harry now. I can't see anyone else playing him.

Those WB people just lucked out with casting Dan. Some kids (beware of the brutal truth) go from cute to just plain fugly post-puberty. Dan looks like he's going to turn out exceptionally well.

I'm happy for Rupert too. I was afraid he was going to go all Danny Bonaducci after the first two HPs, but he's turning out pretty nice too. Stress pretty.
