Apparently the guy originally tagged to direct the ginormous, Hollywood "Dune" movie wanted RPattz as Paul? I did not know that and I... can't even. That director is out. THANK SWEET SHAI'HULUD!!!

Now it seems the "District 9" director or "Doomsday" director might be up for "Dune". I'd be satisfied with either of those choices.

Oh, come on. That would be awesome. RPattz might actually be forced to be sober for a period of time. And then there would be a bunch of Twilight fangirls going to the movie and being terribly confused about it all. The hilarity would never end.

Oh, it's all fun and games, until you'd be sitting there in the theater and hearing the screeching RPattz/Twihard fangirls in the row in front of you. Here's a motley sampling! "OMG MWADEEB/CHENEY ARE SOOOOO EDWARD/BELLA!!1" "OMG IKR!! THEY TOTALLY SHOULD HAVE CAST KSTEW AS CHENEY!!!1" Then you have to find a quiet corner to weep openly.

OG OMG! First, I had no idea they were planning another remake. Secondly NEIL MARHSALL OMG. I love him, I love him like delicious pie.

First I remembered he's the man that brought us Major Sinclair. Then I realized he may also bring us Lady Jessica and Chani. At that point I made embarrassing squee noises. EEEE!!

Though "District 9" made more money and got more press, so it's possible he could get it too. I have no problem with that though, he's quite good as well.
