I was also majorly spoiled yet very shocked cause apparently I don't get spoiled properly and I had none of the finer details. This was awesome.

And you know even with massive spoilage - hell even if you'd read the script - you still don't get the full scale of acting brilliance that is Jacobi and Simm... which is pretty much death by itself, forget all the manic goodness and hot HOT OT3 action of the ep overall.

The beating Martha with the "Rose was perfection" stick has to have a point.

There's really no way it can't. And despite Rose being Rusty's Mary Sue, for once, I'm paranoidly not suspecting it's some subversive attempt at beatification It's specifically being used to develop Martha's character... but where is Rusty going with all of it?

I am downloading Life on Mars finally so I can watch the pretty and finally be part of the John Simm lovers.

You won't be disappointed and probably will have sudden urges for Roxy Music and/or T.Rex after watching the eps which I can only count as win. ;)

Oh and maybe there'll be an extra on the S3 dvd with smutty Jack/Ten/Martha scenes. It could happen...=)

I comfort myself thinking there was an hour or so edited out of the final cut of the ep for watershed's and fangirly sanity's sake.
